I have developed special expertise in the diagnosis
and treatment of structural heart disease.

Procedures - Unusual Procedures

Due to my wide experience I undertake a range of less frequently performed procedures:

Coarctation Stenting

This is placing a stent covered in material in the congenital narrowing in the aorta.

This figure shows a MRI scan of the aorta with a narrowing marked.

Closure of congenital holes in the heart called ventricular septal defects.
Aortic and pulmonary valve balloon procedures.
Septal ablations in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
